This air dam is made of 3-ply reinf0rced neoprene rubber and is virtually indestructible. It will fold over if hit but will spring right back. It bolts to the factory crossbar with a sturdy aluminum angle bracket. A flat plate\u00a0 sandwiches it to the angle bracket\u00a0 and angles it forward about 45 degrees. It is very hard to get a good perspective in a picture. While it looks like it hangs very low, it does not. The crossbar is fairly far back and it only hangs down about 2 inches due to the angle.<\/p>\n
